Dear sir
my friend had purchased bus ticket from Hyderabad to Chennai in middle journey the bus was met with accident at night time and traveler dropped the passengers at that place
while midnight and not responding for my mails for repaying ticket fare, what remedies available to him ?

forget about it . bus fare must be nominal amount . you will spend more money in litigation fees

issue legal notice for refund of your ticket fare and compensation as bus journey was not completed and you had to bear additional cost for completing your journey

Agreed with the expert, after Legal notice, if required results does not come, you may approach Distt. Consumer Forum.

Issue legal notice to travel company and demand refund of fare alongwith compensation towards mental and physical agony caused to you.On failure to comply with notice, file complaint against travel company before District Consumer Redressal Forum .

You shall to spend nothing. Nowadays almost in every District the Permanent Lok Adalat for Public Utility Services are functioning wherein there is no need to appoint a lawyer and no court fee is liable to be affixed and its judgment is final as no appeal against its award can be filed before any court of law.

You can file complaint either at Hydrabad or Chennai aur at the place wherein your journey was cancelled by traveler. Issuance of notice (without lawyer) shall be good on your side.
