Mother:st, father:obc. which cast doest children belongs to ?

Dear Sir,

Request you to answer my queries,

My Mother belongs to ST community and Father belongs to OBC community, Which cast do I belong to ?

As of now, my status says I belong to OBC as per cast certificate. Whether I can adopt to ST and take up my mothers cast. Is it possible, If YES, then what is the way out ?

You will take only your father's caste. There is no other way out.

OBC only. You can't take advantage of your mother's caste. Only your mother can avail benefit of her being ST
