Regarding a land which was in older days named under our family temple.

(Querist) 02 May 2013 This query is : Resolved
My ancestors purchased 3 lands and named them under our hindu temple of Shri Krishna.
But nowadays the neighbours to our land are stretching their land boundaries resulting in disputes.
Please help us out in the best way we can.
1. Can we name that land on my ancestors or our present heir.
Ultimately making it ours cause the temple is going old.
2. How can I drag those land stampers in a legal battle?
Please help me out ASAP.

Thanking you.

File a Declaratory Suit declaring the title of your ancestors over those parcel of land, with a prayer for injunction order against those encroachers. In case your neighbour challenge the title of your ancestors, file all the necessary documents in the court to prove the title of your ancestors.

It depends upon your intention. If you want those land still in the name of temple then fight accordingly and if you want to revoke it then just seek correction in the record and injunction against the encroachers.
