Expeditious disposal of cases.

Dear Sir,

My Estranged wife had filed a false 498a case & a maintenance case u/s125 of crpc against me in 2006.They are still pending in the trial courts in Kolkata.

Can I file for expeditious disposal of these cases in the Calcutta High Court?

What is the status of the cases.
You may try for quashing which even if not allowed would expedite the pending cases.
The 125 if pending in Alipore court may take time due to pendency of volumes of cases.

Both the cases are in Alipore and in evidence stage.My estranged wife had lost the interim maintenance case u/s 125 but the main case is dragging on.

It is not advisable to approach high court in the given case as your wife has already lost interim maintenance case and final decision can also go on those lines.

Challenge the 498A case in high court wherein the high court may pass order for expediting the 1`25 case.

WHY YOU WANT TO expedite the case??

Want to pay her mtn at the earliest?
Just Relax, and Let the Court proceed at their convenience..
She is looser, not you.
498 , u need not worry,
don't hurry, UNLESS YOU HAVE ANY SPECIFIC PURPOSE.
