Hello Experts,
We have started a new student run division of an international NGO here at Hyderabad, AP recently. We met a person, I am not sure if he is an advocate but his card says so, who had promised us to get the registration completely done at a price of Rs.3000. After a week of submission of all documents, he calls me and asked me to collect the certificate of registration. But when I questioned him about the byelaws, he says it will cost another Rs.2000 for it and it is not a part of the registration. I dont understand what is and what is not and also what is going on. I need your help here. I feel cheated. We are students and we have no financial support. Plz help me with the procedure of registration and also possible ways to come out of this situation. Plz its a request.

You can apply directly to the Registrar of societies for a certified copy of the bye-laws. Which DR office is the Society registered.

Now you are at the right door.
you have been cheated.NGOs are preferred to be registered under Societies Registration Act as per Rules framed by states and no certificate can be issued without submission of bylaws.

Finally I am at the right place regarding my query. Happy to get positive response. Please do guide me an my team in a direction thru which we can succeed. We work for environment protection. Its been 2 yrs now, since we have started the NGO here but we recently registered ourselves. Incase there is a solution, do let me know. If I can register the NGO myself , also do let me know. Thank You Sir.

You just buy a bare Act of societies registration Act to gather with it's rule framed by state which you shall need for working,get in touch of Mr.Vishal to frame by laws you need as per your working which can not be voilating rules framed.
Registration can be applied directly and certificate can be obtained directly,no lawyer is needed for that.But one has to apply to gather with by laws.
