Pay protection

Sir,
I am Divisional Medical officer in Indian railway medical service since 2005. Now i wish to join Punjab state Govt. services.Can i get the the benefit of pay protection and if yes kindly tell me where to look for the details for the procedure.

If you apply through proper channel then definitely you shall be entitled for the pay protection if you fulfil the conditions. For detail, you can visit the following relevant law settled by CAT Madras in a similar matter.

I endorse the advice of Shri Makkad. On selection by virtue of applying through proper channel your resignation would be treated as merely a technical resignation allowing you all the previous service benefits in the new organisation.
