Problem with a non-veg hotel

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 14 December 2011 This query is : Resolved
I and my family are being badly opressed by a Non Veg.Hotel just beside me.In which non veg. items are processed from morning to late night. There are so many kinds of gaseous and solid substances in atmosphare and drains.Due to its bad smell to reside here is not possible.

Please suggest me how and with what act I should go on to get closed this Hotel. Is it possible or not ?

I am very thankful to all experts for giving yours valuable suggestions. In this connection I had gone to my local Municipality to know about its license but the officer is saying that Municipality is not licensing authority.

Please tell me who is the authority to issue a valid license for such hotels ?

file an RTI application . find out whether hotel has all the licences .

whether hotel is remaining open beyond closure hours stipulated by authorites?

complain to local muncipal corporation that hotel is dumping left overs in drains and not disposing them as per guidelines laid down By muncipal corporation

You can complain to the environment pollution department.

License issue is bigger matter, which can be taken care of and apart from this you may also invoke a petition/complaint under section 133 of criminal procedural code before the SDM as this unit is creating a big pollution.

If the hotel has valid license and discharge is as per municipal rules, there is no remedy for you.

First ascertain the area is commercial or residential,as second step follow Mr. Sethi, and then choose the remedy as suggested by Mr.raj kumar makkad.Hopefully it shall work.
