Procedures to start an education in India

Hi Experts,

I am Saran and I have been working in Singapore for 5 years. I had studied here previously. With one of my friends I would like to start an education consultancy in India, which will help students from India to learn in Singapore including getting student visas upon getting admissions. What are the procedures to follow to start this consultancy. Please explain....

Both of u being Indian citizens u can start the consultancy wihtout any hassles. and without any permissions from any authorities. U have to however register ur establishment under the State's Shops and Establishments Act. This is done by the local municipal Office. Of- course u may like to enter into a partnership agreement defining ur mutual rights and obligations in respect of the business and the manner of distributing the profits and losses arising out of the business.Ensure that the partnership is registere with the Registrar of Partnership Firms.
