how much importance is given to a suicide note posted on internet like on social networks viz orkut facebook? its not a hand written note by the victim. is this E-suicidal note is valid in indian law if yes then to what extent.

It is very interesting question let us see what other learned members answer for it.
In my opinion it cannot be considered as an evidence, because any body can send such males by hacking the males, now a days technology is so much developed. so it is not a valid one.

if the suicide attempter in india follows the guidance and attempted to do the same will attract and taken into consideration and the website holder and the author will be liable for the abetting of offence of suicide.

Suicide note that also posted on the internet alone without any other material evidence can not be a ground of convictions, as other considerations must be taken into accounts.

As per my view this note is insufficent for conviction anybody u/s 306 IPC, however accused can be arrested on this note.

need to one more thing..is only mentioning the names on a E-suicidal note valid even for arrest?
and what if the note has been written to take some revenge?
and if it gets proved that the note was just to take revenge or defame somebody,who will be responsible and who will be compensating as the person has already committed suicide?
