Q. 1. Any provision is there in our law in respect of to purchase the stamp paper on the name of licensee or licensor either in the case to leave and license agreement?

Q.2. We are concluding the leave license is for 11 months. I want to ask you Whether the said 11 months are covered entire 1 year(12 months) or only 11 months? please clarify?

Q.3. stamp paper for lease agreement of 99 years is on whose name ? LESSOR or LESSEE?

Dear Dilkush, your answers paragraph wise is as under:
1. kindly go through with the registration of document act, stamp act for the same, the deed is prepare in two copies and the stamp is purchased in both parties name and if it be prepare in one copy then it will be in the name of licensor.
2. license for 11 months means compete 11 months period not more than that.
3. stamp paper for lease agreement of 99 years is in the name of the LESSEE.

2. There is a difference between 11 months and yearly license/lease and that is in former the notice period is of 0ne month and whereas in the latter it is of six months and that's why 11 months license are always in demand.

1. The parties to agreement has to buy the stamp paper. It can be in either name.

Excellant Mr Tanwar , very few people read this provision of TP act and on this basis most of landlord cases can be failed.

Yes that is why people do agreements for eleven months and than sleep or continue to renew it on back to back which has no meaning.

Regarding stamp paper it can be taken in any name.
