Can an advocate continue his existing business which he has been doing prior to his enrollment?

No, it is barred under Bar Council Rules.

After getting enrolled he can not continue anymore.

After enrollment you cannot do any business it is barred .

Yes you can take part in existing family businses but you should be partner only.

You can do buisness of teaching, writting books, editing newspapers without any restriction.

You can be Director in any co or co op body but you can not be its managing director.
