Respected sir,
What are the evidence and procedure reqd to charge a corrupt public officer under IPC 219? Either I should approach Hon. CJM court or High court directly. I want to avoid Police. I was asked to pay bribe thro’ an influential local middlemen. Is there any case law. Plz. suggest.

You shall have to file complaint before local magistrate who can send the complaint to police station if you pray under section 156 (3) Cr. P. C. otherwise lead evidence before trial magistrate and after consideration, if found fit, the court may summon such accused person to face the trial.
