Hi,
I am having my flat's agreement in the name of myself with my father as joint owner. my name comes first in the agreement.

now bcause of some family dispute i want to have all the rights relating to flat with me only.

pl suggest me way out like poa or other way so that i can get this done.

when there is another name along with your name in such agreement the rights will be exercised jointly irrespective of investment.

IN CASE YOU AND YOUR FATHER AGREE TO DELET THE NAME OF YOUR FATHER FROM THE PROPERTY RECORDS OF THE FLAT THEN YOU MAKE AN APPLICATION TO THE CITY SURVEY OFFICE AND ENCLOSE NO OBJECTION OF YOUR FATHER FOR DELETING HIS NAME FROM THE PROPERTY RECORDS.

If only the agreement is done with joint names then it would not be difficult as at the time of registration of the deed of conveyance you can easily incorporate your name only keeping your father as Confirming Party only.
Other wise your father's share will have to be transferred in your name. POA is not a long term solution.
