Dear experts,
I need you great help and advice.
I am married and working with on of the best multination company in Mumbai. I usually travel a lot for my business assignment. As such I used to get my company car or taxi for travelling but one day I and my sectary was returning from our assignment, as she was having her farm house on our way so she offer me to see her farm house for which I also got agreed. There was no one except her watchman. We halt there took a cup of tea and decided to return back. We were just planning to leave and suddenly rain has started and unfortunately my car broke down (unable to start). It raining so heavily and no mechanic were near by so we decided to halt there only. I was sitting inside the farm house and in that mean time she asks her watchman to bring some food and whiskey for us. As soon as the watchman gave us the food she told her to go and not to stay there for that night. I told her that in any case watchman can help us in need of something as he is friendly with this location. She offered me whiskey which I denied first but she forced me so much that I got agreed and she also gave me the company.
We drunk till midnight. We both gone into unconscious mode and unfortunately we got involved in physical relation. (I know it is wrong but it was done under unconsciousness and mistakenly without any intention)
Now she is pregnant by a month and asking for huge amount for keeping this secret and also threatening me that I will not give her money and promotion in my company she will do the police complaint and also will prove that I took her into my car to the farm house (as my car was repaired next day in a garage where my car no. was noted.) that I have raped her. She also told me that she will tell police that I forced her watchmen to not to stay there.
Now I understand that she had planned this before only as she know that I love my family very much and I am also too social.
Now kindly suggest me how can I come out of this can I take the help of police without coming in knowledge to my family and my company.
What else I can do now???

dear Sachin, it all seems like a story of a movie......but it is sad if this incident has really happened to u.
whole of your case is a matter of evidence, if it goes to court....u ll need to prove various things in order to falsify her claim of rape.
but if the matter goes to police/ court then you will be in larger trouble on various fronts.
try to compromise the matter with her, let her abort.

Dear Kiran,
Sometime it happens that your actual life become a part of some movie and unfortunately it happen with me.
I tried to convience her but she is not agreed and the amount she is asking for is very huge it will take almost 10 years to save this much money.
i am badly stuck in this situation and i am not getting any way to come out from this. she is calling me daily on my cell and every time i receive her call in the fear that if i will not receive her call may be she will call at my home and tell the truth to my wife.

I think this was preplanned by her to extract money, and I also doubt that she was already involved with someone.Though I do not advise otherwise than our learned friends because afterall you will have to suffer.

As she is mature and major so the story of forceful rape is unbelievable even to police and layman. How she became silent for such a long time is also another point to which she should have to reply. I suggest to pass some more months in the same way and then tell her to do what ever she wants. Meantime you may control your family and may ensure some evidence in your hands. Dont come to her wishes.

I want all the experts from LC to come forward and advice me what can i do now.I think this is not the justice. Just because i am a man why should i only suffer? We both have commited the mistake so we both should be punished equally. As i cant become pregnant this dosent mean that i am not a innocent one. We both were in same mode that time and we ourself agreed for that situation. I think i didn't raped her infact she raped me and now blaming and blackmaling me.
Pls. i request you all to come forward as this is the fight for a innocent man and against our law which support women so much.

you are in a risky situation.
since ,it happened at her place and already there is some delay ,it would be very difficult to prove the rape story.
is she married? has she done it you only for money? from your descriptions of the incident,she herself seems to be in a good financial condition. I find it very difficult to digest your version as she had done it for money alone? especially getting pregnant. Is she really pregnant?
if she is really pregnant and you think,she will go ahead with black mailing,first of all you need to take your family into confidence.
you may also think of engaging a private detective to find out actual development and whether she is having similar incidents before etc.

Dear Mahendrakumar,
Thanks for reply!! She is not married. She is very much greedy, she wanted to become millionaire in one night. As a boss i had a very good relation with her infact many times i and my family had gone for dinner with her. We were treating her as a part of our family as she is unmarried and away from her family, she belongs to delhi bcoz of job she is in mumbai. i was not knowing that she can do such a thing with me.
These all points which i should think will be right for me ;-
1) Let me first bring in my wife's knowledge that this thing happen and she is now blackmailing.
2) I will tell my wife to take my parents in law into confidence.
3) I will discuss this matter with my family.
4) I will confess in front of my company that this thing happened in unconscious mode.
5) I will hire a private detective which will provide me the background details and history of her.
6) I will my self will register the FIR/Case of blackmailing.
Now i want you to suggest me if these steps are in right direction or anything else i have to do???
