Can an auditor act as a liquidator of a company?
if yes what are the necessary procedures to be followed for appointing the auditor as liquidator

wHAT DO YOU MEAN BY AUDITOR, IS HE IS A CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT.

iF HE IS A CA the Board has to pass a resolution in a General Body meeting deciding to /Wind up the company. After that resolution is passed the Board may appoint the CA as the Liquidator for Members Voluntary Liquidation. The Appointment has to be gazeted abd from then the liquidation commences.
