My parked car got damaged because of playing cricket by boys of society. What should I do. I want compensation for this damage.

It's second time, once I suffered loss bcz of wrong parking. This is second time. What should I do.

Who is responsi? ble for the security of carparking.? If it is with the society, you can claim damages by vicarious liability.Any way if you resort to legal action it may invit troubles with neighbours affecting smooth atmosphere.

May be you can seek damages, but it may put strain in your relationship with other Society members.

You can claim from the parents of concerned boy and the Society.

You have the option to get it repaired under Insurance Cover.

As some boys are playing cricket, who can pay the damages. society will tell you it is not their responsibility. It should be dealt with your neighbours/other owners or tenants and also society. You lose your relationship with them. Settle this issue with an amicable way.

Settle the issue with concerned parents of the boy(s) roping in Managing Committee of the Society qua playing cricket in common area damaging property of members / residents.
