Filling past job detail in attestation form.

(Querist) 06 October 2018 This query is : Resolved
Sir,
I worked for 4 yrs. as a state govt. employee. I have no charges/enquiry pendi g or ever contemplated against me.

And, I resigned recently from this state govt. job by serving 1 month notice period, by showing the unavoidable circumstances reason . At the end of expiry of my notice period, my resignation was accepted by the appointing authority and releiving letter was issued to me.

Now, i got an appointment offer from central government and i have to fill attestation form. I have to fill my previous service details in this form and there is a column asking "if you had left service on giving one month notice under rule 5, CS rules 1965 or any disciplinary proceeding framed against you......."

I have no problem, if they enquire my past service details with my past employer.

1. But, what would exactly they want to know by asking this?

2. Is my educational details (filled in attestation form) are also got verified from the past employer or just my past service character is verified?

3.During verification, do they send a photocopy of the filled in attestation form to the past employer or they just ask for my previous job particulars with past employer by some separate communication?

4. Finally, what am i supposed to fill in the attestation form regarding previous job details column correctly?

Kindly direct in this matter.

Your state govt service is eligible for pension So furnish the details without omission. All other particulrs are routine and exibit your talent and image.Further you can involuntarily request to collect the service register from the previous office also. Wish you all the best in the new placement.

What is the problem in disclosing true details of your past ???
Do you expect the experts to spoon-feed you??

Yes, when the information is benign, what is the problem?
