I need to transfer agriculture land from my father to myself

I need to transfer agriculture land which is located in village in Andhra Pradesh state from my father name (property coming from my grand father) to myself or my mother name because my father died. we have patta and pass books on my father. What documents required ? and to whom should we give these documents? and how much time would it take to get this complete? Thanks in advance

first obtain the death certificate of your father. then apply to the Revenue Divisional Officer concerned through the Tahsildar concerned for mutation of the property with the Fair Adangal copy (take it online) in the name of your mother. If you want separate passbokks, then partition the property between you and your mother and if any other legal heirs of your father. You shall consult the revenue authorities.
