Ancestral property

40 years back my grandfather and his elder brother transfer the ancestral property to their names. and they sold 90% of property to others. can i have any possibilities to recover that properties. both are alive now.

if it is not possible, i have one question. what is the possibilities to sold that ancestral property without the legal heirs knowledge?

Which personal law applies in this case say; Hindu.

Have you shown all mutation record with link docs to a very able senior LOCAL counsel of unshakable rpute and integrity specializing in revenue/property/civil matters and confirmed the nature of property as ancestral !

As soon as you became a major you should have challenged the sales of your ancestral properties and that too on the ground of they being Avyavaharika debts or loans. That is not your case.But due to addiction to bad habits they sold off 90% of the properties maybe due to family necessity.You can't recover those properties now after such a length of time.If still the properties are mutated in your name show them to an Advocate of unimpeachable integrity and reputation and expert property lawyer.
