Can poa holder sell the property on behalf of owner

Hi, our close relatives (i.e., my wife sister) are staying at USA, now they want to sell the resale property to us. But they don't time to come to India for next 4 to 5years. Now they are ready to give the poa to her mother. Shall we proceed or any other alternative for this procedure. Post your suggestion, I will apply for housing loan for this resale property.
Request you to pls advice in this regard.

Certainly the POA could be made in USA and to be attested by the Indian Consulate there.Check and take the help of Local Good Senior Advocate

The power agent can sell the property to the prospective buyer, it is very much valid provided the power of attorney deed is a registered document.

The power of attorney has to executed at USA and get authenticated with the Indian Embassy in USA. The specification such as description of the property, purpose, duration etc. needs to be mentioned. If the purpose of executing such POA is for the sale of the property, then the POA must include the clause of signing and execution of such specific document related to the said property.

POA executed and attested in USA has to be adjudicated in India.

POA holder can sell the property if authorized by the POA document.

We came to know that, bps also not yet applied for this property I.e flat, other tangents applied at the time of booking the flat. Now how to buy. We have applied for hl loan, Bankers also requested for bps. Now what is the solution. Flat age of property its almost 10 y at Miyapur, Hyderabad
