facilities to the accused

dear experts
the honorable suprem court convicted
Sasikala and two others for four years
and she filed a petition requesting the authorties
to provide a tv
to provide an ac room
to permit for home food
to provide 24x7mineral water
and to provide a separate room with an attendent.
is there any provision of law to provide the above if so ,in general every body who dont have any obligations in the society commits such crimes and went to jail and may requests for the above.
kindly advice on the above.

You are advised to read Jail manual for authentic information.

However, except for a common man, anything is possible to be managed for the influential political big wigs. After all they are the patrons of our democracy.

1. The Jail Superintendent is empowered to provide all the mentioned requested facilities, depending on the gravity of the mentioned situation.

2. National Terrorist "kasab" was provided "preferential treatment and facilities" including food of his choice.
