RESPECTED SIR,
PLEASE TELL ME THAT:= IS IT MANDATORY TO APPEAR BEFORE FIRST APPELLATE AUTHORITY UNDER RTI, CAN FAA REJECT MY RTI APPEAL IF APPELLANT IS ABSENT IN 1ST APPEAL.
Hemant Agarwal (Expert) 12 December 2016
1. IT is NOT mandatory to appear before the FAA, during hearing the Appeal. BUT the FAA is bound to provide you his FAA order, by Post.

2. HOWEVER, it is advisable to mention the same in the Appeal and request for exemption from personal appearence and ex-parte order on merits.

Keep Smiling .... Hemant Agarwal

You can benefit from the advise of experts.
Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 13 December 2016
I agree with experts advise it is not mandatory and you will get the orders by post from FAA.
however, it is always better to attend the proceeding before FAA in your own interest; otherwise the water shall flow towards slop i.e., in favour of SPIO and your efforts shall fall in deep ditch.

Agree with the expert Dr J C Vashista.
