Apply to Tahsildar stating the date of death of your mother. enclose the death certificate.
Then state the list of all legal heirs, relationship with your mother, residential address.

Only one legal heir can apply. Need not to signed by all the heirs.

Then the Tahsildar shall do the inquiry and issue the legal heir certificate.

Meanwhile, intimate the same to Company, where your mother had maintained shares, regarding the legal heirs and the status of application to the Tahsildar.

Thank you.

Contact the respective Tehsildar Office, know the formalities to be completed, complete and proceed.

Generally application, affidavit having names of legal heirs, death certificate is requirement. Documents and language may change from place to place.
