Cancellation of warrant.

My name is D. Merchant.
I have warrant issued a/g. me in 138 cheque bounce matter in Mumbai Esplande court as I had not attended few dates in beginning.
Actually this Case was registered against me in bhiwandi court and then I got it transferred to Thane court where the matter was disposed off.
Now again same matter complainant has filed against me in Mumbai esplande court.
Can he do this ?
Can court accept such a case ?
I contacted a lawyer for the same but he is asking 5000 rupees for getting warrant cancelled.
I'm not in position to pay him as my date is tomorrow (30th September ) n I'm running short of cash.
Can I skip tomorrow's date ?
Is it ok if I don't attend court tomorrow and get warrant cancelled before next date?
Plz guide urgently.

If you have skipped other dates, this can also be skipped and it shall not have much effect.

Whether the complainant can file the another complaint on the same cause of action is a question of very interest. As per law if a cheque case has finally been decided then no further complaint can be filed on the basis of bouncing of the same cheque.

If your economic condition is poor, you can avail Free legal Aid by moving an application supported with your affidavit before the same court or CJM.

You shall not have to incur even a single penny even of typing during the entire proceeding.

You have option to appear in person and plead for withdrawal of warrant. However, you need to make arrangements for taking bail on the same day.
