Central government accommodation

My wife is a Central Govt employee and her pay scale is (Rs.9300-34800)with Grade pay 4200/-. Authority provides her a type-ii accommodation where as she is entitled for type-iii accommodation. I like to know that if authority can not provide the entitled accommodation due to nonavailability of type-iii accommodation then is my wife can apply for type-iv accommodation if available? Is there any government rule for this purpose?

Dear Client,

May be due to non avaialbility of type iii accommodation they've allotted her type two accommodation. Type iv may be for higher cadre employees than your wife. If any other employee who is employed in the samwe grade as your wife is given rttype iv or type iii eetc you can request the authorities to allot and extend the same benefit to you also on par with the fellow employee of equal rank. Once type iii accommodation is available she would be allotted. If we go by strict rules she should be given type iii accommodation only. If anyone else overstays after his tenure or some other reason in type iii it is the bounden duty of the employer to get it vacated and provide type iii accommodation to your wife as per rules. Unauthorized occupants should be demanded to vacate and people like your wife should be given occupation of type iii as per rules.

Dear Client,

Yes a s per 5 Th Pay Commission Recommendations if her pay scale is not less than Rs.8500 OR FALLS BETWEEN 8500--12000 she should be allotted Type IV quarters/accommodation if type iii is not available. You can request the estate Manger regarding THIS AND GET YOUR WIFE ALLOTTED type IV quarters.
