How to calculate the family income in case of a Earning father and his earning and divorced son as per government rule???

Mr. Vivek,

Definition of family differs for different purposes as per different sets of Rules applicable on a Government servant. So, no single definition can be quoted unless asked for specific purpose.

There is no official definition of earning father or earning divorced son.

So, better discuss the real problem if there is any in your own case.

dear all,

the detailed scenario goes like this

I am planning to buy my first house under pradhan mantri aawas yojna
where the annual income must be between 3 lac to 6 lac for LIG catagory.

i am earning around 5 lacs per annum (i am divorcee and staying separately from my parents)

my father earns 1.4 lac per annum

so from my previous question I just wanted to confirm whether my fathers income will be added as a family income or not??

note- me and my father both dont have any house in our name. we both are in private service
