(Querist) 10 May 2015 This query is : Resolved
Respected sir/ma'am,

Please clarify the below doubt..

Previous owner agreed to transfer the property to Mr.X. first, after some time that previous owner agreed with me as well (without knowing to me regarding previous agreement) to sell the property and even he registered in my name.

now Mr.X. said that the registration is void and even he wants to approach the court.

is there any law to make the registration void?

Please advise on the above. thanx.

Best regards,

Naveen.

If there is a sale agreement or any such documents, then Mr. X can approach the court

What do you mean by "previous owner"? Who is present owner?
When the agreement to sell is still in vogue it can be sued to be performed through court of law.

how old was their agreement and what were the exclusion clauses.

All the documents need to be referred, consult local lawyer.

Mr. Naveen Sidda,

Your query is premature, but also lacks in vital information about the agreements, dates of evnts and circumstances under which the previous owner registered property in your name.

What Mr.X. has said and done are two different things.

Based on the stated facts, he has done nothing so far. Let him file a court case to say that the registration is void, only then it would be better for you to come forward with the actual problem, as based on the contents of the petition.

However, if you want to adopt some preventive measures, it would be better for you to get your documents, along with the agrement of the seller with the other person, examined by some expert and get appropriate advice, as without study of those documents, no opinion can be formed.

I agree with the views and advise of expert Mr. Dhingra on the subject issue. Lot of points are to be clarified to give you proper advise which will not be possible without seeing the documents, hence as advised, take an opinion from a local lawyer and proceed as per his advise on further issues.
