how much a employer has to pay the dependent if there is a death of the work-man in the course of employment i.e. for funeral expences
adv. rajeev ( rajoo ) (Expert) 19 November 2009
itz ur will and wish. U can pay whatever you want on humanatary grounds. first u ask how much they want, they may demand more amount, then think of that and pay dnt take decesion alone, you be accompanied with ur close frnd and let him talk.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 19 November 2009
Workman Compensation Act comes in the way to compute the total compensation to be paid to the legal heirs of the deceased workman but it is appropriate if the employer on his own judgment pays them appropriate amount so that the family of the deceased may at least pass their initial days of death with that amount.
