Divorce

My cousin and her husband is not staying together. She is not ready to live with her any more. She has been staying away from her husband more than a year. We have discussed with him and applied for Mutual divorce. He keeps on changing his mind and turning cruel and not ready to leave her to lead her life peacefully. He is not ready to cooperate for the any of legal proceedings. Can you please tell us a way to get divorce from him.

If mutual divorce is not happening anytime soon the better file contested suit for divorce.

If he is cruel may file case of domestic violence case. File contested divorce, Consult local lawyer.

If he is not willing to give her divorce on mutual consent, the best option is to file a case for regular divorce on the grounds of cruelty or any other facts that may be experienced. consult a local lawyer and proceed as per his advise.
