Hello All,

I am a Law student, can anybody help me with a sample format of "Criminal Complaint u/s 498A". Would be of great help.

Better to ask from your teacher and read the provision. you have posted the query on wrong platform.
No special format existed. No two cases can be similar, therefore, the complaint shall differ as per the circumstances and facts.

1. How can there be fixed format for specific complaints?

2. Whatever complaint your client has against his husband or inlaws regarding the alleged cruelty she has been subjected to, shall have to be narrated in the said police complaint.

complaints are case specific, one need to draft it on his own without relying on somebody's support so that it will be more useful in the future too.
