Time limit for small causes court judgement

(Querist) 13 December 2013 This query is : Resolved
Hi

We are living in a Tenant Building in Central Mumbai. The Landlord has purchased the building one year back from previous Landlord vide Deed of Assignment. But the Property Card is not yet transferred to his name. Now the Landlord wants to redevelop the same. I have the following Querries

1) Is is advisable to Sign the Irrevocable Consent even if his name is not transferred to the Property Card

2) The Landlord has filed an Eviction Suit in Small Causes court, since we are not signing the Irrevocable Consent.

3) He only wants Consent and is not ready for any type of amicable solution.

4) Is is possible for him to Evict us from our House. It is in the name of my Father & he is living with us.

5) What is the time frame (Nos. of years) for judgement of Small Causes Court Case.

6) What will be Cycle after Small Causes Court

Please Advise. The builder is mentally harassing us through his agents.

Thanking You
