(Querist) 25 October 2013 This query is : Resolved
IS IT NECESSARY AND /OR CUMPULSORY TO MENTION NAMES OF SUSPECTS WHILE REGISTERING FIR?

CAN WE SAY UNIDENTIFIED/UNKNOWN PERSONS?

WHICH IS BETTER OPTION?
ajay sethi (Expert) 25 October 2013
if you know name of persons who have committed the offence furnish the names of said suspects
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 25 October 2013
If you know the names then mention, if not then do not.
Mentioning the names of culprits is not compulsory when you have no idea about the identity of offenders.
