Who can be member of a society

we are a society registered under societies registration act 1860 in UP. My query is can we admit a Society,Company or Trust as its member.

its depend on the constitution of the society, read the bye-laws of society

1. In India, NO Cooperative Society can bar admission to a "Society, Company or Trust" as its member", subject to fulfilling the documentary formalities.

2. However, special purposes Society (Defence personnel.... ), established for specific purposes, may refuse admission to a "Society, Company or Trust" as its member.
