Dear Member kindly advice;

Is it society's responsibility to carry out structural repairs of individual flat?

If yes, then what action under which rule of law could be taken against society if deny

There is no responsibility of Society's to carry out structural repairs of individual flat.

But Sir, as per Rule 160 of Maharashtra Co-op Societies (Amendment) Ordinance 2013, Society shall carried out at its cost structural repairs of roofs of all flats but now our society in which i m residing is denying their responsibility.

What sought of action should i initiate against the society and also requested to share any favourable supreme court's judegment.
