498a amendment

hello experts

My Wife put 498A case, more than 4 months are over but still charge-sheet is not prepared.

I would like know Can she Add new name
(my other relatives) currently in her complain myself and parents name only mentioned and we all three has taken bail.

if charge sheet is not filed then it means that case in under investigation and therefore she can certainly add other persons as an accused, if you apprehend the same then you can apply for anticipatory bail.

New accused can be added in the case at this stage.

So why she has not given other relative name when she has filed FIR 4 month back and every one know what kind of investigation is done by police,,,,

on what basis she can add new accused?

You wife cannot add any name in her application on the basis of which FIR has already been lodged. The investigation Officer if during the investigation has found definite clues against some other persons only then he can add them but generally names are subtracted rather addition during the investigation.
