hi every body,

i am from hindu family and is from maharasthra

i want to know how much share my grand mother would receive from her fathers property
wherein my grandmother has 1 sister and 2 brothers which taken as total including my grand mother is 4 of them .

what according to law is the share of the girl in her fathers family property

your grand mother received i/4th share of her father's property if her father die intestate.

Question is not containing all the facts so reply is imaginary and not accurate. You have not mentioned when the father of your grandmother died and when her mother died? Year of death is very relevant. It is also to be mentioned whether the father of your grandmother was a Hindu or not?

Hoever, if the father of your grandmother had died after 2005 then the reply submitted by n. k. sarin is absolutely correct.
