Procedure

(Querist) 17 September 2009 This query is : Resolved 
I filed an writ petition...listed for motion..I think on that day the case is actually be admited...can any body tell me step by step procedure thereafter...just steps like..
1. Filing
2. Motion (admision hearing).....
3....
4...etc.

Soma every high court has adopted it own procedure for hearing, though there is not much of difference, u can check the rules and procedure adopted by the concerned high court.

hc may or may not admit the writ or may decide the same in the motion hearing or may dispose off the same in first urgent hearing or may do it afer taking on record the written reply of the State.
