Dear members,
I want to know if it is LEGALLY acceptable for complainant and his relatives to accompany the cops, while cops are visiting the accused's place for arrest after FIR.
In my case, I have been putting it on record since initial stages that the cops are hand in gloves with the complainant's and today in a cross exam in another case (civil) the uncle of complainant on being asked if he had visited my house ever..so he came on record saying, yes only once, along with the cops to get me arrested !
can I use it in anyways in my favour?

there is no law that complainant cannot come with police to help identification and arrest of accused. He is an interested party to ensure that the police do not arrest wrong person or do not evade arrest.

for identification of the accused person at the time of arrest, police can bring any person who they believe to be known with the accused in any manner.
