Release deed

(Querist) 11 January 2013 This query is : Resolved
(Year 1970) After my grand father's death, my mother got the property transferred to her name (As my father was died young).
We are four 2male and 2female childrens to our parents
(Year 1992) My Mother had expired and after her death we have transferred the property to male childrens name
(myself and my brother).
No female names entered into the propery papers
(Year 2012) We planned to sell our land.
Even though the property doesnt have our sister names, just to be on the safer side we called our sisters
and executed release deed in subregister office by giving 2 lak amount to each person
After the execution, we got release deed papers with us.
Now two of my sisters had gone to court of law,by saying we are cheated and the property value is more

could you please tell us - what would happen
1. We have the release deed with us - they have challegened the release deed
what is the chance for our winning?
is the release deed considered as strong document?

If the release deed is registered and is signed by sisters, the same can not be assailed solely on the ground of inadequacy of consideration until and unless there are other attending circumstantial facts leading to prove that some kind of fraud was played upon them by brothers either by misrepresentation or concealment of some material facts, knowing which they might have not agreed to execute the release. So answer is not so simple that one can say yes or no right away without going through pleadings and evidence of parties.
