'A'Purchase house of Rs. 320000/-. Now A want to gift it to his wife 'B'.

Please tell me the value of Stamp Paper for making Gift Deed.

You belong to Maharashtra wherein such rate is 2% of the value of the gifted property.

The value on which stamp is chargeable is Rs 320000/- or present market value which is higher.

The rate of stamp duty is different in different states.
