(Querist) 07 May 2012 This query is : Resolved 
The information supplied to me under the RTI is either incorrect or insuffcient & despite my repeated visites, the IO does not bother......Besides,appeal can I file a Complaint under the Consumer Protection Act on account of deficiency in service in spite of my paying the requisite fee for the required information ?The CPA provides additional remedy not in derrogation with other law ?
Please guide.

well,you can file a consumer complaint in addition to a an appeal/complaint.

the sad part is,you will have to wait a minimum period of around 2 years or so,before some result come from the consumer court.

Yes, you can file under consumer court too.

Y must knock the appellate court of the RTI for and prove there it is intentionally furnished wrong information to avoid limitation.
