Is this a society flat?
If not then you can freely carry out such activity.

If it is not commercial use property, u can not use it commercially (legally)

are your falts located in residential cooperative housing society or is it commerical .

you have not naswered queries raised by experts

There is no such distinction as you told. If the area is commercial then you are free to do so and if not then the entire other activities like bank etc. are also illegal.

Let it be ground or any floor if the flat is part of a residential housing society, you can not let it for any kind of use other than residence unless society agrees for it by a resolution in your favor.
sweta (Querist) 25 April 2012

sweta (Querist) 25 April 2012
whether possible legally 1st floor legally given to banks etc and second floor where i purchased they put suit on me??
ajay sethi (Expert) 25 April 2012
without permission of society you cnnaot use it for commercial purposes .

in addition need BMC permiission for change of user . society is justified in taking action against you .

by way when you can collect lakhs as rent from bank why dont you engage a lawyer and pay his fees?
sweta (Querist) 25 April 2012
no sir i am not collecting rent read my first question banks etc activity running in 1st floor
i purchased one flat in second floor for my profession work lic gic insurance agent i search in google but i cant get meaning so i write here question

You would require the permission to do commercial activity.

The land use permits, first floor to be commercial and the same permit may not be available to second and above floors.
