Passport noc from court in case of 125

(Querist) 15 April 2012 This query is : Resolved 
sir, my wife has filled 125 (maintenance) against me in Family court. Case is registered just before two months and there is no further proceedings by hon. court.
i want to prepare a fresh passport.

My question is 'in this situation is it necessary to get N.O.C. from the court to apply for fresh passport?'

There is no necessity to get any NoC from court, get your passport renewed ASAP, lest a 498a follows, when you would require a NoC.

Yes no need of NOC for this type of cases.
It is a case of quasi civil nature.
