Dear Sir/Madam,
I have a query regardsing RTI. I believe this place to get more appropriate and helpful reply, I have also tried multiple places but didnt get the satisfactory reply.
Below are my discriptive case detail, please advise on this.
I am a Road transport officer under state transport authority and my job is to check the vechiele & their paper (like permit, road tax, overload etc) and fine the defaulter under MVI Act. In recent past during my job the siezed a truck on National highway and someone nonsense and illegal kind of people (also people of the transporter) came out and the beated us on the took the truck from us, Later on i filed a criminal case agaist the transportor and finally police send him to the jail for 2-3 month. Now, once he released from the jail and files a RTI request asking for the deatils of properties and bank accounts of my and my husband.
Now, I am not sure if i and liable to give all this detail to the person of a criminal background, specially when it is nowhere related to his kind of work and my job responsibilties. Even if i surrender those information...it could be in danger for my family which stay alone in town as i m posted in rote area.
Please advice as per the RTI rules. I will be grateful if you also reply me on query.

Where is the RTI filed in your office I suppose... the personal information that has been asked for in the RTI from your office would not be granted by them as neither they would have the same nor personal information is liable to be disclosed under RTI
