Renting redeveloped property

Respected sir/madam, When a government chawl redeveloped and transferred into a cooperative society is allowed to rent or sell. We use to be a tenent but now owner. Is it legal to rent or sell my flat, and if we do so, what will happen if in body complaints.

There is no bar in enjoyment or transfer of a property by an owner.

This decision has to be taken by you independently after considering all pros and cons. Legally there is no problem in either of the sides but practical aspects should be duly considered only by you and do not depend upon us.

Every owner has the right to transfer his perperty.

In your case, it has to be checked what the title documents say.

Whether the property is rightly conveyed to you or not??

I would like to ask, what is the basis on which you say that now you are the owner?? was there any registered transfer documents with respect to the property??
