Dear sir, am Abdur Razique, i am about to form an electronic goods company(infotech), basically computer peripherals. I will import products from china to india at my home town kolkata. I wanted to know that, what are the legal issues which i should maintain.
Please let me know the legals to sell products like usb flash drives, hard drives, etc under my company logo/brand name.
And also let me know, can i import counterfeit or branded products or not.

you just pay the sufficient taxes., i mean just purchase it from correct peoples, thats enough.
usually this field peoples purchasing all of these items from black market for cheap rates. dont encourage china products in black markets.,

I have discussed with a certified company in china who manufactures the above listed products and also gives 5 years warranty on the product for other companies worldwide.
I only wanted to know that, after importing those products in india, can i print my company brand name on it to sell in india, or i need to pass out some other legal issues to do so.

You cannot do so without the prior permission of RBI and Ministry of Commerce to do so.

You should first make representation to Ministry of Commerce. for that purpose, you may visit the official web site and can initiate further action accordingly.

Advise from Mr.Kapoor and Mr.Rajkumar are right.
You shall have an import license and EXIM number and you shall contact teh ministry of commerce for the same.
As per law, you can sell the products in Inidia by declaring in the cover/packet/case/box of the products that:
Manufactured by XYZ, China
Marketed by YOU, India.
In all the products, the declaration regarding the manufacturer is mandatory whether it is electronics goods, general goods, stationary or any other products.
