Lease agreement

I am about to lease an apartment in Goa. Me and house owner are in Bangalore. Can lease agreement print on stamp paper issued by Govt. of Karnataka?

Ya. You can entered into an agreement about your goa property even though you are residing from bangalore

yes. Mr. Tom is absolutely right. But find out if goa laws require registration of the agreement.

Yes stamp papers bought in any state can be used in a different state.

Could some one advise me on,
1. Does Goa law needs registration of the lease agreement.If so,
2. what is the procedure to do it?

The Goa, Daman and Diu Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction). Control Act, 1968. (Act No.2 of 1969)is applicable there qhich requires compulsorily registration of lease there.
