registered sale deed

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 09 June 2011 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir,

I had purchased a agricultural land near tiptur during April1997 after taking permission from AC for the purchase of the said land. The land who sold to me by a GPA holder as absolute sale deed and the deed is registered in sub-registrar office. Later I came to know that the GPA is notarised and not registered. And also the GPA principal holder is given GPA in 1994 and she died during June 1997.

At the time of khata transfer, the son of GPA principal holder is claiming that the property belongs to me since the GPA was not registered with sub-registrar.

Now the khata is pending.
What should I do now ?
Plese advice me.

yes you have paid for "no title"unless that "son" agrees to write a fresh sale deed in your favor you are no where.
Other remedies you could have against PoA are already time barred.
