Legally allowed to record conversation in police station?

Hi
Please let me know if accuse under 498a is allowed to record whatever conversation he has with Police.
This would help in recording the evience give to police and latter on what police acted with due dillegence.

No he can not.Only the confession or admission is required to be recorded in presence of the Magistrate.

then how to control bais attidue to IO..
He is put presure on us to agree for divorce which I dont intent to without proving truth of everyone.

Rec would have given some direction for investigation. It could have obliged him to investigate and vaildate what i am saying.
