Partition of joint family property ???

I am partner in a joint family property( ancestral property).

All the other family members want to sell this property except me.

Can they do this legally without my consent?

I am not willing to sell this property in any way.

plz. suggest.

without your consent they cannot sell the same legally. You can seek partition and get your specific share with meets and bounds if it is partitionable. Otherwise, you may be offered to purchase the share of the others at the rate of present market value. If you are not in a position to purchase the same the property will be sold in public auction and the sale proceeds will be distributed proportionally.
